Emerald Ash Borer's Impact on Madison Trees
Posted on Jun 23, 2015

We would like to bring your attention to the arrival of the deadly Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) in the Madison area and the city's plan to deal with it. Unfortunately, almost 10,000 of the estimated 21,000 Ash trees that line the city streets are scheduled to be removed. Read more about the City Forester's take on it here.

You can also find more information about how to identify an Ash tree and some tips on how to manage an EAB infestation on the UW-Madison's Extension department's website. Please consult with a landscaping professional/tree expert for further guidance.
