*** Middleton City Council Meeting April 21 ***
Posted on Apr 18, 2015

At the Public Hearing on 4/14/15, the Middleton Plan Commission REJECTED the request for the zoning change on the 8850 Blackhawk Road property at the corner of BH/PV (vote was 4-2).

However, Steve Brown Apartments has decided to take their proposal directly to the Middleton Common Council, where they will hear testimony both for and against the project (much like the public hearing).  This is taking place on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 7:30 at Middleton City Hall on Hubbard Avenue .  The Council will need to pass it with a three-quarter vote in favor.

While we know it’s only a short week after we invited neighbors to attend the public hearing, your attendance at the Common Council meeting is equally as important!  You can choose to speak or not to speak, but your support is greatly appreciated to keep the Blackhawk Neighborhood safe.

Please join us as we continue to fight this proposal and advocate for RESPONSIBLE development of that corner by putting the infrastructure in place for traffic before the addition of so many people and cars to our neighborhood.
